Unscripted Growth - Comfort

Comfort is seductive. Not because it is wrong, but because it convinces us we’ve done enough—learned enough, stretched enough. Progress has never lived inside that assumption. Comfort rarely announces itself as the enemy of growth. It doesn’t block progress—it pacifies it. 

Discomfort, by contrast, is honest. It announces uncertainty immediately. The moment we step into unfamiliar territory, our old scripts stop working. Confidence dips. Clarity wavers. We feel exposed. This isn’t failure; it’s the cost of growth.
